About the Author

Dr. Ted G. Roberts is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force. He served 31 years beginning as an enlisted Airman assigned to the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, DC. He earned an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy, graduating in 1996 with his Bachelor of Science in General Engineering and earning his commission. He served in various Space and Missile assignments, graduated from the U.S. Air Force Weapons School, Space Weapons Instructor Course (Class 04B), and served in various Joint and Combined assignments. He deployed to Afghanistan to support Combined/Joint Task Force 76 (CJTF-76), worked at Headquarters U.S. Central Command J5, served a tour as a joint planner at U.S. Transportation Command's Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) in Norfolk, VA, and concluded his career teaching Joint Professional Military Education Level II (JPME II) at the Joint Forces Staff College. Ted earned his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership (DSL) from Regent University with a concentration in Strategic Foresight in 2020. He also possesses a Master Degree in Business Adminstration (MBA) from the University of Montana (2000), a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado (2005), and a Masters in International Relations & Conflict Resolution from American Military University (2011)
